Welcome to the Cookie Policy of My Own Pace. This policy explains the technologies we use on myownpace.app, what they do, and your rights in relation to them. This policy applies only to the website. The My Own Pace mobile app does not use browser cookies; data processing within the app is described in the Privacy Policy.
This document informs Users about the technologies that allow the Owner to access and store information — for example, Cookies — or to use resources on a User's device when the User interacts with myownpace.app. For simplicity, all such technologies are referred to in this document as "Trackers", with the term "Cookies" used specifically when referring to the browser-based type. The validity and expiration periods of Cookies vary as set by the Owner or by the third-party provider that issued them. Some Cookies expire when the browsing session ends, while others persist for a defined duration.

myownpace.app uses so-called "technical" Cookies and similar Trackers to carry out activities strictly necessary for the operation, security, and delivery of the Service. Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive — implemented in Croatia by the Electronic Communications Act (Official Gazette 76/22, 14/24) — Trackers strictly necessary to provide an information society service explicitly requested by the User are exempt from the prior-consent requirement.
Cloudflare is a traffic optimization, content delivery, and bot-protection service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. The way Cloudflare is integrated means that it filters all the traffic through myownpace.app — i.e., communication between the website and the User's browser — while also enabling site-wide bot protection (Bot Fight Mode).
Provider: Cloudflare, Inc.
Place of processing: United States — Privacy Policy.
Personal Data processed: IP address, browser and device characteristics, request metadata.
Cookie set: __cf_bm — used to identify and block automated bot traffic across the site.
Lifespan: 30 minutes of inactivity.
Additional Cookie that may be set when a Cloudflare security challenge fires: cf_clearance — stores the result of a successful challenge so legitimate Users are not repeatedly challenged. Lifespan: variable, up to 24 hours.
Legal basis: ePrivacy Art. 5(3) strictly-necessary exemption — security of an information society service.
Cloudflare Turnstile is a spam-protection service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. that verifies whether the User submitting the contact form on /support is human. It is loaded only on the /support page, and only when the User reaches that page.
Provider: Cloudflare, Inc.
Place of processing: United States — Privacy Policy.
Personal Data processed: IP address, browser fingerprint signals, interaction data — used solely for human verification.
Cookies set: cf.turnstile.u and related Turnstile cookies; __cf_bm is also set by challenges.cloudflare.com when the widget loads.
Lifespan: short, session-bound.
Legal basis: ePrivacy Art. 5(3) — strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the User (anti-spam protection of the user-initiated contact form submission).
Cloudflare Web Analytics is a server-side, edge-mode analytics service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare analyzes its own server logs at the edge — no JavaScript runs in the User's browser for analytics purposes, and no beacon, pixel, or tracking script is loaded on the website. Aggregated traffic statistics (page views, country, device type) are derived from the HTTP request alone.
Provider: Cloudflare, Inc.
Place of processing: United States — Privacy Policy.
Personal Data processed: IP address (transient, server-side), user-agent string, request metadata (URL requested, HTTP status, country derived from IP, timestamp). Aggregated only — no individual visitor tracking, no client-side storage, no cookies set, no fingerprinting.
Cookies set: None. No data is stored on or read from the User's device. No localStorage. No fingerprinting.
Legal basis: Because no information is stored on or read from the User's device, ePrivacy Art. 5(3) does not apply. The transient processing of IP addresses is covered under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest in measuring website traffic and securing the Service. Disclosed here for transparency.
For full transparency, myownpace.app does not load or set any of the following on this website:
Because myownpace.app uses only strictly necessary Trackers, no consent panel is provided — there is nothing to consent to or withdraw consent from. If we ever introduce Trackers requiring consent (such as analytics or marketing), this section will be updated and a consent mechanism added before any such Trackers are loaded.
Users may use their browser settings to view, block, or delete Cookies. Browser settings, however, do not allow granular control by category. Refer to the documentation for your browser:
Although this website does not use advertising or interest-based tracking, Users may follow the instructions provided by the following industry initiatives to manage advertising preferences across the wider web:
Cloudflare, Inc. is established in the United States. Transfers of EU personal data to Cloudflare are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and Cloudflare's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, providing the safeguards required under Chapter V of the GDPR.
Users are free to block or delete Cookies via browser settings. However, all Trackers used on this website are strictly necessary for security, abuse prevention, and contact form protection. Blocking them may impair the website's security features, prevent the contact form on /support from working, or result in repeated security challenges.
Users have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of their Personal Data, and to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP, www.azop.hr). The full list of rights and the procedures to exercise them are described in the Privacy Policy.
The Owner reserves the right to make changes to this Cookie Policy at any time by notifying Users on this page. Users are encouraged to check this page regularly. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this document.
